Clear Coatings

US SPECIALTY COATINGS formulates and manufactures several different types of clear coatings. Each one is formulated to serve a certain purpose. Our R & D group will be glad to custom formulate a clear coating that will meet your requirements and specification.

POLYCOAT sb – solvent based one component coating. Self curing. Can be applied directly to the substrate or can used a protective clear top coat over painted surfaces.

POLYCOAT wb – water based one component coating. Low odor, non flammable. Can be applied directly to the substrate or can used a protective clear top coat over painted surfaces.

POLYCOAT aerosol – Packaged in convenient to use upside down aerosol spray cans, clear one component polyurethane coatings.

DTM wb CLEAR – water based, low odor, tough, extremely durable clear acrylic coating.

DURACOAT clear – Packaged in convenient to use straight up aerosol spray cans, solvent based polyurethane coating.

ChalkDefender – Packaged in convenient to use upside down aerosol spray cans with narrow spray UMA tips to protect and seal chalk lines.

SPAR VARNISH sb – Marine quality clear solvent based coating for protection of wood, metal, fiberglass surfaces.
